Have you heard of the elf seers in Iceland? Instead of being sidelined, and laughed at, Icelanders relate to nature, elves included, in ways that differ from others. Many consider elf seers, including the decision-makers in government as legitimate. Author Nancy Marie Brown, of the new book Looking for the Hidden Folk, How Iceland’s Elves Can Save the Earth, joined us to talk about her life-altering experiences traveling in Iceland. As well as the stories, many of them thousands of years old, that were woven into the culture of the country, and their importance and potential impact on the rest of us.
